The Dream Builder Il costruttore di sogni, The Dream Builder, was published in September 2007. Most of the stories have been translated from Italian to English on this website, in the "Illustrated Stories" section. Paolo also made all of the artwork for these stories, consisting of photography, collage, painting and sculpture. If you read Italian, we encourage you to experience this book in the language in which it was written. We grappled with translation of the words, since many phrases don't translate with the emotion or passion as intended in the original.

Dreams and Company In the mid-1980s, Paolo hired Mark Holechek as Creative Director for Ellesse USA. Paolo and Mark started, almost immediately, talking about science and math related to art and fantasy. The two began designing detailed global charts and maps based on logical premises in geography, always with a certain fanciful twist. By the late 90s, besides the work they did together in fashion promotions, Paolo and Mark continued to pursue their interest in documenting these art phenomena with concepts related to the world around us. This book was published in 2004 as a journal of thoughts and ideas they had together. Throughout the assembly process of Dreams and Company, Volume 1, the co-authors referred to each other in all correspondence, as on their by-line, as P4OLO + M4RK.

Sogni e altre Meraviglie A metà degli anni ottanta Paolo assunse Mark come direttore creativo dell'Ellesse USA. Quasi immediatamente Paolo e Mark si resero conto di avere un comune interesse: ritenere che ci fosse un stretta relazione tra scienza e matematica con arte e fantasia. I due incominciarono a disegnare dettagliate carte geografiche basate su principi geografici logici, sempre però con un guizzo di fantasia. Alla fine degli anni novanta, oltre al lavoro di promozione moda che facevano assieme, Paolo e Mark continuarono a coltivare questa loro passione legata alla documentazione di fenomeni artistici legati al mondo che ci circonda.
Questo libro fu pubblicato nel 2004 come un diario dei pensieri e delle idee che avevano condiviso. Durante tutto il periodo di lavoro per la messa a punto di Dreams and Company, 1° volume, i due autori facevano riferimento l'uno all'altro e firmavano la loro corrispondenza come P4OLO + M4RK.
